A Little About Us

Extremely attentive interviewing with the prospective client is the secret to our ability to assign the proper caregiver.
Background history is a very essential part as well as speaking with as many family members as possible.
Gathering as much knowledge from the client and family as possible, so we can match the client with the appropriate caregiver.
Even the most difficult clients can be an interesting challenge for Angel Care Home Services. With kindness, understanding, a little patience, and the right caregiver, the client can be a pleasure to take care of.

Special requests are often met. Some examples are:

One client requested everyone to be 5 foot 2” or shorter. Tall people frightened her.
Another client requested everyone to be from Ghana-the same as her nanny when she was a child.
Another client requested the caregiver to always bring clothing for fine dining at a moments notice.
Another client requested the caregiver to have a vehicle no more than 4 years old in her driveway.
The husband of another client requested that the caregiver eat his meals on wheels with his wife at the table, the same as he would if he were home.
Being a retired mailman, he requested the caregiver to use the name of their street for their first name, the reason being that he could only remember street names.
Another client insisted that we send him a caregiver of every nationality possible; to prove to his family he was not prejudice.
A hospice client requested her caregiver to always hold her hand while she slept because she did not want to die alone.

No matter how insignificant it may be, we will try to fulfill our client’s requests. With 40 years of experience in the health care field, we are still sometimes caught by surprise, but we are confident in our abilities.
